CHOCOLATE EGG HUNT
A beautiful bright and sunny morning welcomed The Jumeriah Islands Chocolate Egg Hunt on March 22nd at the Jumeirah Islands playground area. Over 200 guests attended.
It was a great family occasion with children of all ages joining Eric the Easter bunny in a fun filled day. Children had their faces painted, made and decorated small egg baskets and rabbit ears and then spent the morning searching through the playground looking for chocolate eggs with much enthusiasm and success. Under shrubs, between flowers and beside small rocks and twigs, the little chocolate eggs were discovered much to everyone’s delight.
Eric the Easter bunny was a welcome addition entertaining the crowd. He was seen dancing around the playground and was certainly a popular guest. As you can see from the great photos that were captured, there were a lot of smiles and laughter.
The marquee provided a great spot to enjoy a cold drink and escape the midday sun. This combined with some easy listening music meant there was something for everyone.
Caveman Makefire Barbeques provided free hotdogs for all those who attended which was greatly appreciated. They kindly raffled one of their BBQs on display which was won by Karina Monti. A big thank you finally to Oasis for supporting Jumeirah Islands and providing a selection of cold drinks for all those thirsty egg hunters.
Other prizes on offer in the raffle included several movie tickets and the large chocolate Easter Egg hamper was won by Yasmin Moosa much to everyone else’s envy!
